Some residents of Hamilton, New Jersey don’t think their mayor did anything wrong. This week the Mercer County Prosecutors office charged Hamilton Mayor Kelly Yaede and her campaign manager Dan Scharfenberger with disorderly person offenses for revealing the arrest record of her then political opponent David Henderson. His record was supposed to have been expunged. Yaede defeated Henderson in the June Republican mayoral primary. But as WHYY’s Kenneth Burns reports … many Hamiltonians are thinking … so what.

Police in New Jersey’s capital city are doing all they can to NOT have repeat of Memorial Day Weekend; where one person was killed and 15 others were wounded in two separate shootings. WHYY’s Kenneth Burns reports a plan to combat the violence was implemented shortly after the flare up.

After a 30-year absence, a high school soccer program will return to the City of Chester. WHYY’s Kenneth Burns reports that the program for the Chester-Upland School District will begin in the fall with full funding from the professional soccer team the Philadelphia Union and other organizations.
